In order to use Multigateway, you need to add the Lite Multigateway Extension to your Nxt Client. Currently, the software is in beta stage.

Windows Installer
The Lite Multigateway Installer is the easiest option for Windows 7/8 users. You can grab it in Software Downloads.
The installer will perform the following:
- Install the latest Nxt Client in your computer
- Include the Lite Multigateway UI Extension in it
- Create Start Menu shortcuts to run the Nxt Client, open the Nxt Wallet and Uninstall
We recommend that you use the default C:/NXT install path, if possible.
Updating Lite Multigateway with Windows Installer: Once a new release has been published, you can run the new installer version with the same default options to overwrite the old files. If you are updating from Lite MGW v1.2/Nxt Client 1.1.6 to Lite MGW v1.4.1/Nxt Client 1.2.5: The latest Nxt Client will perform an update of the Nxt database. This might take a few minutes and it’s expected to happen the first time you run it!
Uninstalling Lite Multigateway: You can use the Uninstall option to remove all the program files from the install folder and the Start Menu shortcuts. Network data and files created by the user will be preserved, so if you want to completely remove all the application data just delete the folder C:/NXT.
If you don’t want to use the Windows installer and prefer to do a manual installation, continue reading below.
Note: Please keep in mind that Nxt is written in Java, and requires an up-to-date Java installation to run. If it’s the first time you run Nxt and you need to update Java in your computer, you can get Java SE from Oracle here.
Win / Mac / Ubuntu Manual Setup
- If you don’t have it yet, download the latest Nxt Client. The Nxt Client is cross-platform, you can get the latest 1.2.5 release here.
- Unzip the Nxt Client in a location of your choice.
- Download the Lite Multigateway Beta UI extension here.
- Unzip the UI extension in the nxt\html\ui folder of your Nxt Client, overwriting the existing files. If you are using the executable Nxt Wallet for Windows/Mac, you will find this folder in C:\Users\[YOUR_USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Nxt Wallet\nxt\html\ui.
- The next time you access your Nxt Wallet, the Lite Multigateway UI extension will be available under the “Nxt Services” tab in the left sidebar.
With this (and of course your wallet for any supported coin you want to deposit) you have all you need to use Multigateway. Follow with Getting Started!
